Overnight deliver of downtown roofing.
The 701 Building, located in downtown Minneapolis, was a unique challenge. Time was of the essence, yet timing was critical, because the project had to be scheduled over a Thanksgiving weekend. As a result the work had to be done at night to avoid disrupting or endangering the cars and holiday shoppers who would surge into the downtown stores on one of the year's busiest retail days.
Working closely with the 701 Building's management office and the City of Minneapolis, Top-All was able to design, manage, and complete the project by sealing off three blocks after 6:00 pm on three successive nights.
- Two crews for a total of 23 roofers
- Four sets of halogen lights, plus operators
- Five semi trucks and drivers
- Crane boom-lengths of up to 220 feet to lift roofing sections under one skyway and over another
